Why Brazill Brothers

One rep for the electrical package on the line

Transit work runs through tunnels, stations, substations and structures, and each one asks something different of the electrical package: fire-rated circuits, corrosion resistance, movement, and heavy power. Brazill Brothers represents manufacturers across that package, so contractors, distributors and engineers can work through one team.

We cover transit work from New York and New Jersey down through Pennsylvania, Maryland, Washington, DC and Northern Virginia. Our North Brunswick, NJ warehouse stocks key lines and handles cutting, paralleling and SIMpull heads, so material shows up ready to pull.

FAQ

Transit FAQs

What transit products does Brazill Brothers represent?

We represent fire-rated and corrosion-resistant conduit (Champion Fiberglass, Robroy Stainless, Plasti-Bond), steel conduit (Wheatland Tube), power and control cable (Southwire, MB Cable), fire-rated MI cable (Pyrotenax), cable tray (Legrand Cablofil), fixing and fastening (nVent CADDY), grounding and rail lugs (nVent ERICO, nVent ILSCO) and fittings and enclosures (O-Z/Gedney, Appleton, Milbank). Availability varies by territory.

What fire-rated options do you have for tunnels and stations?

Champion Flame Shield phenolic conduit is two-hour fire-rated, and Pyrotenax MI cable systems offer two-hour fire-rated performance for critical emergency circuits. Which fits depends on the circuit and your specification, so call us and we will help you sort it out.

Which lines are available in my area?

It depends on territory. For example, O-Z/Gedney, Appleton and Legrand Cablofil are not part of our DC lineup, and Milbank and nVent CADDY are New York only. Use the territory picker above or check the DC linecard.

Can you cut and parallel cable for a transit job?

Yes. We cut to length, parallel and stack multiple conductors, and add SIMpull heads, all built to your job’s requirements. See our services.
